The granny stitch is the mainstay for many crocheters. I love granny squares, always have! 


Being a child of the 80's, they had fallen out of favour by the time I started to really appreciate the traditional granny square.


The huge trend for all things granny square has seen celebrities sporting their own granny square clothes and designers sending crochet down the runway all season long.


Back for it's 2nd year, the Stitching with Granny event, is perfect for those people who have moved beyond the basic granny square and are looking to get their hook in to something a little more exciting while still celebrating the granny stitch.
